Scripture Reading: Matt. 24:14; 28:19-20; Col. 2:2; Eph. 3:4; 4:16; Rev. 19:7-9
Matt 24:14    And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matt 28:19    Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matt 28:20    Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days until the consummation of the age.
Col 2:2          That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ,
Eph 3:4         By which, in reading it, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
Eph 4:16       Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.
Rev 19:7       Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
Rev 19:8       And it was given to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the saints.
Rev 19:9       And he said to me, Write, Blessed are they who are called to the marriage dinner of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true words of God.
I.     The Lord needs the truths of His recovery to spread to the whole earth—Matt. 28:19; 1 Tim. 2:4:
Matt 28:19    Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
1 Tim 2:4      Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
A.     The spreading of the divine truths of the Lord’s recovery will be a preparation for the Lord’s coming back to bring the recovery and restoration not only to Israel but also to the entire creation—Matt. 24:14; Mark 16:15.
Matt 24:14    And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Mark 16:15   And He said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all the creation.
B.     There is the need of the spreading of the translated, interpreted, and understood divine truths for the Lord’s recovery and restoration; the spreading of the divine truths will bring in the Lord’s restoration—Isa. 11:9.
Isa  11:9       They will not harm nor destroy / In all My holy mountain, / For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah, / As water covers the sea.
C.     The Lord’s recovery is full of the divine truths but is inadequate in the application of the truths and slow in the spreading of the truths.
D.     The Lord’s charge to us is to go and teach the nations so that the present age may be consummated—Matt. 28:19-20; 24:14.

Matt 28:19    Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matt 28:20    Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days until the consummation of the age.
Matt 24:14    And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
II.   It is a historical fact that the world situation has always been the indicator of God’s move on earth—Dan. 4:26, 35; 7:2-14:
Dan 4:26       And in that it was commanded that the stump of roots of the tree be left, your kingdom will be assured to you after you have come to know that the heavens do rule.
Dan 4:35       And all the inhabitants of earth are considered as nothing, / But He does according to His will in the army of heaven / And among the inhabitants of the earth; / And there is no one who can resist His hand / Or say to Him, What are You doing?
Dan 7:2         Daniel responded and said, I was watching in my vision by night, and there were the four winds of heaven, stirring up the Great Sea.
Dan 7:3         And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other.
Dan 7:4         The first was like a lion and had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were plucked and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man; and a man's heart was given to it.
Dan 7:5         And there was another beast, a second one, resembling a bear. And it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth; and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
Dan 7:6         After this I watched and there was another beast, like a leopard; and it had four wings of a bird on its back; and the beast had four heads, and dominion was given to it.
Dan 7:7         After this I watched in the night visions, and there was a fourth beast, dreadful and frightful and exceedingly strong; and it had large iron teeth; it devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
Dan 7:8         I was considering the horns; then there was another horn, a small one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted from before it. And there were eyes like the eyes of a man in this horn and a mouth speaking great things.
Dan 7:9         I watched / Until thrones were set, / And the Ancient of Days sat down. / His clothing was like white snow, / And the hair of His head was like pure wool; / His throne was flames of fire, / Its wheels, burning fire.
Dan 7:10       A stream of fire issued forth / And came out from before Him. / Thousands of thousands ministered to Him, / And ten thousands of ten thousands stood before Him. / The court of judgment sat, / And the books were opened.
Dan 7:11       I watched then because of the sound of the great things that the horn was speaking; I watched until the beast was slain and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire.
Dan 7:12       And as for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was given to them for a season and a time.
Dan 7:13       I watched in the night visions, / And there with the clouds of heaven / One like a Son of Man was coming; / And He came to the Ancient of Days, / And they brought Him near before Him.
Dan 7:14       And to Him was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom, / That all the peoples, nations, and languages might serve Him. / His dominion is an eternal dominion, which will not pass away; / And His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.
A.     The history of the church also shows us that the world situation is the indicator of God’s move on earth—Rev. 2—3.
Rev 2:1         To the messenger of the church in Ephesus write: These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, He who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
Rev 2:2         I know your works and your labor and your endurance and that you cannot bear evil men; and you have tried those who call themselves apostles and are not, and have found them to be false;
Rev 2:3         And you have endurance and have borne all things because of My name and have not grown weary.
Rev 2:4         But I have one thing against you, that you have left your first love.
Rev 2:5         Remember therefore where you have fallen from and repent and do the first works; but if not, I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.
Rev 2:6         But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Rev 2:7         He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
Rev 2:8         And to the messenger of the church in Smyrna write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead and lived again:
Rev 2:9         I know your tribulation and poverty (but you are rich) and the slander from those who call themselves Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Rev 2:10       Do not fear the things that you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison that you may be tried, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Rev 2:11       He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall by no means be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:12       And to the messenger of the church in Pergamos write: These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:
Rev 2:13       I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name and have not denied My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
Rev 2:14       But I have a few things against you, that you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol sacrifices and to commit fornication.
Rev 2:15       In the same way you also have some who hold in like manner the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
Rev 2:16       Repent therefore; but if not, I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war with them with the sword of My mouth.
Rev 2:17       He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and to him I will give a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knows except he who receives it.
Rev 2:18       And to the messenger of the church in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, He who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like shining bronze:
Rev 2:19       I know your works and love and faith and service and your endurance and that your last works are more than the first.
Rev 2:20       But I have something against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, she who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and leads My slaves astray to commit fornication and to eat idol sacrifices.
Rev 2:21       And I gave her time that she might repent, and she is not willing to repent of her fornication.
Rev 2:22       Behold, I cast her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her, into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works;
Rev 2:23       And her children I will kill with death; and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the inward parts and the hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Rev 2:24       But I say to you-the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they Say-I put no other burden upon you;
Rev 2:25       Nevertheless what you have hold fast until I come.
Rev 2:26       And he who overcomes and he who keeps My works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations;
Rev 2:27       And he will shepherd them with an iron rod, as vessels of pottery are broken in pieces, as I also have received from My Father;
Rev 2:28       And to him I will give the morning star.
Rev 2:29       He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Rev 3:1         And to the messenger of the church in Sardis write: These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have a name that you are living, and yet you are dead.
Rev 3:2         Become watchful and establish the things which remain, which were about to die; for I have found none of your works completed before My God.
Rev 3:3         Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and keep it and repent. If therefore you will not watch, I will come as a thief, and you shall by no means know at what hour I will come upon you.
Rev 3:4         But you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments, and they will walk with Me in white because they are worthy.
Rev 3:5         He who overcomes will be clothed thus, in white garments, and I shall by no means erase his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Rev 3:6         He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Rev 3:7         And to the messenger of the church in Philadelphia write: These things says the Holy One, the true One, the One who has the key of David, the One who opens and no one will shut, and shuts and no one opens:
Rev 3:8         I know your works; behold, I have put before you an opened door which no one can shut, because you have a little power and have kept My word and have not denied My name.
Rev 3:9         Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, those who call themselves Jews and are not, but lie-behold, I will cause them to come and fall prostrate before your feet and to know that I have loved you.
Rev 3:10       Because you have kept the word of My endurance, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial, which is about to come on the whole inhabited earth, to try them who dwell on the earth.
Rev 3:11       I come quickly; hold fast what you have that no one take your crown.
Rev 3:12       He who overcomes, him I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall by no means go out anymore, and I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
Rev 3:13       He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Rev 3:14       And to the messenger of the church in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God:
Rev 3:15       I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.
Rev 3:16       So, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spew you out of My mouth.
Rev 3:17       Because you say, I am wealthy and have become rich and have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked,
Rev 3:18       I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire that you may be rich, and white garments that you may be clothed and that the shame of your nakedness may not be manifested, and eyesalve to anoint your eyes that you may see.
Rev 3:19       As many as I love I rebuke and discipline; be zealous therefore and repent.
Rev 3:20       Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me.
Rev 3:21       He who overcomes, to him I will give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.
Rev 3:22       He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
B.     There is the need of an appropriate direction for God’s move today to match the recent changes in the world situation.
C.     When we see many changes in the world situation, we must wake up and consider what the Lord wants to do and how these changes concern us.
III.  We need to see a vision of the world’s ultimate situation, God’s ultimate move, and the Lord’s ultimate recovery—Prov. 29:18a:
Prov  29:18a Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint;….
A.     The world’s ultimate situation involves the supremacy of the United States:
1. The United States has been kept for the spreading of the central vision of Paul’s completing ministry—Acts 26:18; Col. 2:2; Eph. 3:4; 5:32.
Acts 26:18    To open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.
Col 2:2          That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ,
Eph 3:4         By which, in reading it, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
Eph 5:32       This mystery is great, but I speak with regard to Christ and the church.
2. The United States is the last power God will use for His final move.
B.     God’s ultimate move is to carry out His economy concerning Christ as the mystery of God and the church as the mystery of Christ—Col. 2:2; Eph. 3:4-6:
Col 2:2          That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ,
Eph 3:4         By which, in reading it, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
Eph 3:5         Which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in spirit,
Eph 3:6         That in Christ Jesus the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the Body and fellow partakers of the promise through the gospel,
1. God’s ultimate move to fulfill His eternal intention is to have Christ as life in us, flowing in us, saturating and permeating us, and making us fit to be built up into His Body for His expression—Col. 3:4; Eph. 3:16; 4:16.
Col 3:4          When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.
Eph 3:16       That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner man,
Eph 4:16       Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.
2. Three items have been recovered—the preaching of the gospel, the teaching of the Bible truths, and the scriptural way of meeting; now this final matter of God’s ultimate move must be our concern—3:8-11.
Eph 3:8         To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel
Eph 3:9         And to enlighten all that they may see what the economy of the mystery is, which throughout the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things,
Eph 3:10       In order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church,
Eph 3:11       According to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,
3. Gospel preaching, teaching the Bible, and meeting according to the Bible are not God’s ultimate move; God’s ultimate move is to gain a people who have Christ as their life and live Him—Col. 3:4; Phil. 1:21a:
Col 3:4          When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.
Phil 1:21a      For to me, to live is Christ…
a. It must be our real experience that Christ is the flowing life within us—John 4:14; 7:37-39.
John 4:14      But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall by no means thirst forever; but the water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water springing up into eternal life.
John 7:37      Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
John 7:38      He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:39      But this He said concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed into Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.
b. As Christ saturates and permeates us, He supplies us with all His elements and terminates the negative things within us—Eph. 3:16.
Eph 3:16       That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner man,
c. We need to be transformed, grow into maturity, and be built up in order that Christ may have His Body—Rom. 12:2, 5; Eph. 4:15-16.
Rom 12:2      And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.
Rom 12:5      So we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Eph 4:15       But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ,
Eph 4:16       Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.
d. God wants Christ as the embodiment of God to become our life, and He wants us, as sons of God, to be members of the Body of Christ so that Christ will have His Body; in our locality this Body will be expressed as a golden lampstand; this is the preparation of the bride—Col. 2:9; 3:4; Rom. 8:14; 12:4-5; Rev. 2:1; 19:7.
Col 2:9          For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,
Col 3:4          When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.
Rom 8:14      For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Rom 12:4      For just as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function,
Rom 12:5      So we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Rev 2:1         To the messenger of the church in Ephesus write: These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, He who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
Rev 19:7       Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
4. Even if our gospel preaching is adequate, our Bible teaching is accurate, and our meetings are scriptural, we need to ask ourselves this question: Do we have the ultimate move of God among us?
5. God’s ultimate move is the fourth step of His move to accomplish His eternal purpose—Eph. 3:11; 2 Tim. 1:9; Rom. 8:28:
Eph 3:11       According to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,
2 Tim 1:9      Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the times of the ages
Rom 8:28      And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
a. The first three steps are preaching the gospel, teaching the Bible, and meeting according to the Bible.
b. The fourth step is His gaining a good number of believers who know how wonderful Christ is, who have Him as their life and live Him, who are filled, permeated, and saturated with Him, who grow in life and are transformed by His flowing life within them, and who are built up with fellow believers to be the golden lampstand in their locality; this is what the Lord is after today—Eph. 4:12, 15-16; Rev. 1:11-12.
Eph 4:12       For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ,
Eph 4:15       But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ,
Eph 4:16       Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.
Rev 1:11       Saying, What you see write in a scroll and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamos and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.
Rev 1:12       And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me; and when I turned, I saw seven golden lampstands,
c. For the first step, the spread of the gospel, God prepared the Roman Empire; for the second step, the return to the Bible, God prepared Germany; for the third step, the recovery of the gospel, the teaching of the Bible, and the proper meetings, God used Great Britain; and for the fourth step, God’s ultimate move, God has prepared the United States.
d. As this ultimate move goes forward, there is the need for a powerful country, the United States, to keep the peace and to keep the way open.
6. The direction of God’s ultimate move must be toward Europe; before the crushing of the great human image in Daniel 2 takes place, the Lord’s recovery must spread to Europe and be rooted there.
Dan 2:31       You, O king, were watching, and there was a single great image. This image, large and its brightness surpassing, stood opposite you; and its appearance was frightful.
Dan 2:32       Concerning this image, its head was of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its abdomen and its thighs of bronze,
Dan 2:33       Its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.
Dan 2:34       You were watching until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the image at its feet of iron and clay and crushed them.
Dan 2:35       Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed all at once, and they became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
Dan 2:36       This is the dream; and we will tell its interpretation before the king.
Dan 2:37       You, O king, are king of kings, to whom the God of the heavens has given kingship, power, and strength and glory.
Dan 2:38       And wherever the children of men, the beasts of the field, or the birds of the sky dwell, He has given them into your hand and has made you ruler over all of them. You are the head of gold.
Dan 2:39       And after you another kingdom will arise, inferior to you; and there will be another kingdom, a third one, of bronze, which will rule over all the earth.
Dan 2:40       And there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters everything; and like iron that smashes all these, it will crush and smash.
Dan 2:41       And in that you saw the feet and the toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, the kingdom will be a confused mass; but there will be some of the firmness of iron in it, for you saw the iron mixed with the earthy clay.
Dan 2:42       And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be fragile.
Dan 2:43       And in that you saw the iron mixed with the earthy clay, they will be mixed together through the seed of men, but they will not cleave to one another, even as iron does not mix with clay.
Dan 2:44       And in the days of those kings the God of the heavens will raise up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and its reign will not be left to another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms; and it will stand forever.
Dan 2:45       Inasmuch as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut without hands and that it crushed the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will happen afterward; and the dream is certain, and its interpretation trustworthy.
C.     The Lord’s ultimate recovery is the same as His ultimate move—Col. 2:2; Eph. 3:4-6, 11; 5:32; Rev. 2:1; 19:7-9:
Col 2:2          That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ,
Eph 3:4         By which, in reading it, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
Eph 3:5         Which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in spirit,
Eph 3:6         That in Christ Jesus the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the Body and fellow partakers of the promise through the gospel,
Eph 3:11       According to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Eph 5:32       This mystery is great, but I speak with regard to Christ and the church.
1. The ultimate move of God has been lost sight of, but now the Lord will recover it and thus complete what He desires to do—Matt. 16:18; Eph. 4:16.
Matt 16:18    And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
Eph 4:16       Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.
2.                  The Lord wants to recover Christ, the mystery of God, becoming the indwelling Spirit to dispense the Triune God into the believers, thus making us members of His Body for His corporate expression; this Body is expressed locally as the lampstand, which becomes His testimony, the testimony of Jesus—Col. 2:2; 1 Cor. 15:45b; Rom. 8:11; 12:4-5; Rev. 1:11-12.
Col 2:2          That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ,
