最近申請了中華電信的 hicloud ,新掛載 storage 時需要自己動手 fdisk & mount
 
很久沒手動做這個事情了!~ 記錄一下免得忘記!
  • 先確認硬體配置
    # fdisk -l
    
    Disk /dev/sda: 107.4 GB, 107374182400 bytes

    /dev/sdb 是新掛進來的,也是需要 fdisk 處裡的
  • 開始新增 Partition
    # fdisk /dev/sdb
    Device contains neither a valid DOS partition table, nor Sun, SGI or OSF disklabel
    Building a new DOS disklabel with disk identifier 0xd3b9abf3.
    Changes will remain in memory only, until you decide to write them.
    After that, of course, the previous content won't be recoverable.

    用 p 看看是否有新增成功

    確定後就下 w 寫入 partition 資訊囉!

  • 寫入後原則上需要重開機,但是如果不想重開就執行
    # partprobe

    如果沒有這個指令就安裝一下
    yum install parted
  • 建立 file system
    mkfs -t ext4 /dev/sdb1
    mke2fs 1.41.12 (17-May-2010)

    Writing inode tables: done
    Creating journal (32768 blocks): done
    Writing superblocks and filesystem accounting information: done
    
    This filesystem will be automatically checked every 34 mounts or
    180 days, whichever comes first.  Use tune2fs -c or -i to override.
  • mount 到需要的位置 (ex: /mnt/datastore/)
    mount /dev/sdb1 datastore
     
    這樣就大功告成囉!
